Asus Zenfone Zoom was officially announced in the same month exactly a year ago at CES 2015 and expected to be available in the market in Q2, 2015. As the name suggests Asus Zenfone Zoom is basically designed for the photography purpose but the company has not just focused on the photography view, company has also included good processor and overall quite impressive configuration.
Asus Zenfone Zoom is having 13MP camera with an OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) having f/2.7 to f/4.8-aperture, 3X optical zoom, 10-element lens that can add 12X digital zoom for finer close-up details and dual-color Real Tone flash. It features the laser auto-focus technology for super fast focus (less than 0.03 second) and also uses Asus’ PixelMaster v2.0 technology which is very helpful for capturing low-light shots. It is the world thinest samrtphone having 3X optical zoom. Asus Zenfone Zoom also has manual mode for DSLR-like camera detail settings and super resolution mode for up to 52 X resolution photos. It is having 5MP secondary camera having features like Wide View, PixelMaster and Selfie Panorama (up to 140 ˚) to beautify the pictures.
Asus Zenfone Zoom will be available in two variants-one will have Intel Atom Quad-core Z3580 processor clocked at 2.3GHz coupled with 4 GB RAM and having internal memory 64GB while other variant will have 2.5GHz Intel Atom Z3590 Quad-core processor with same size of RAM which is 4GB but different storage size that is it will have 128GB internal memory. Rest of the configuration will be same for both the devices.
Asus Zenfone Zoom is having 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display and is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with ZenUI and powered by 3000mAh li-po battery which provides the backup for the whole day. Asus Zenfone Zoom is a single sim phone and also having GPU which is PowerVR G6430.
It is not confirmed yet which variant will get released in India or both variant are going to be released but for sure Asus Zenfone Zoom will release in the end of January 2016. The price of Asus Zenfone Zoom will be 399$ in US and for Rs 26,499 approx in India.
