Xiaomi Mi 5 is all set to get launch tomorrow ( February 24) in Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 which is going on in Barcelona. Xiaomi will unwrap one of the most awaited smartphone having the latest and powerful processor named Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 which is even more powerful than some of the laptop processor. Xiaomi is all set to make a grand debut at MWC by launching the Xiaomi Mi 5 which is the flagship smartphone. The company will be entering for the first time in MWC and launch of Mi 5 will also take place in Beijing. It will be the second smartphone having Qualcomm Snapdragon 820, world’s first smartphone having snapdragon 820 is Le Max Pro.

The event is scheduled to take place tomorrow at 9 AM CET (Barcelona) | 3:00 AM EST (New York) and 1:30 PM in India. The Mi 5 announcement will also be live streamed on YouTube (embedded below), which will allow users from across the globe to watch it.

According to the rumors and news from different source, Xiaomi Mi 5 may have different variants but it is not confirmed which variant has what features. Images of Mi 5 was also leaked which described the look of the smartphone.
Adding to above said, the Xiaomi Mi 5 will sport a 5.2-inch HD display having resolution (1920 x 1080), it is said news as most of the smartphone manufacturers are moving to full HD displays and much more superior quality display, Itis having HD display. As per mentioned above that it will some the variants, so first metal variant will have 3GB and 4GB RAM variant having the internal storage 32GB and 64GB respectively while the second glass variant which can be named as Xiaomi Mi 5 plus will have 4GB RAM for both the storage options i.e. 32GB and 64GB.
The smartphone will be fueled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 which is 64-bit quad-core processor, along with an Adreno 530 GPU for graphics to use it during the high intensive gaming. It will feature a 16MP rear camera which has been mentioned as well and 6MP front facing camera. Assumption are getting made that the phone will run Android v6.0 Marshmallow based MIUI 7 out of the box.
According to the leaked images of Xiaomi Mi 5 it seems like the Mi 5 will sport a physical home button below the display, this will be the first time that Xiaomi will include physical home button in smartphone. It will be fueled with the massive 3600mAh non-removable battery and support the fast charging. It will also feature the smallest and fast fingerprint scanner sensor which will be built into the home key.
