Lenovo K9 and Lenovo A5 phones are the smartphones launched by Lenovo in India. The Lenovo K9 sports Quad Camera which means dual camera lens setup on the rear and front. Another smartphone, Lenovo A5 which has a bigger 4,000mAh battery came to India.
Now both the smartphones are going to be on sale in India from 1st Nov 2018 exclusively on Flipkart.
Lenovo K9 Specifications
The Lenovo K9 has beautiful 2.5D Glass 5.7” HD+ display having resolution 720 x 1440 pixels. It is powered by MediaTek P22 Octa-core processor clocked at 2Ghz.
There is only a single variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB Storage You can even expand your storage needs using microSD card up to 256GB via a hybrid slot. The Lenovo K9 is having a 3000mAh non-removable. It measures 153.80 x 72.90 x 7.95 (height x width x thickness).
It runs on Android Oreo 8.1 and loaded with dual lens camera with a 13MP primary sensor having features like PDAF, f2.2 Aperture, 1.12 micrometer with the 5MP Camera secondary camera having: f2.4 Aperture, 1.12 micrometer. On the front as well it has dual lens camera, a 13MP and a 5MP for the selfie. Both of the camera modules get LED flash.
Connectivity options on the Lenovo K9 include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard the smartphone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor. Dimensions are 153.8×72.9×7.95mm.
Lenovo A5 Specifications
The Lenovo A5 has 5.45” HD+ display having resolution 720×1440 pixels. It is powered by MediaTek MT6739 quad-core processor clocked at 1.5Ghz.
It has two variant with 2GB RAM+16GB Storage with the same processor and other variant having 3GB RAM+32GB Storage. You can even expand your storage needs using microSD card up to 256GB via a dedicated slot. The Lenovo A5 is having 4000mAh. It measures 146.2×70.86×9.8mm (height x width x thickness) and weights 160 grams.
It runs ZUI 3.9 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. and loaded with a 13MP rear camera having a f/2.2 aperture and autofocus with LED flash. While its front camera is of 8MP with a f/2.2 aperture.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, Micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm jack. Furthermore, it has sensors like an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.
Lenovo K9 and Lenovo A5 price in India
Both smartphones are coming on sale with a special discount of Rs 1,000.
Lenovo A5 starts with the price of Rs 5,999 having 2GB RAM+16G storage while Rs 6,999 for 3GB RAM+32GB storage variant. But the original of the variant with 2GB RAM+16G is Rs 6,999 and for 3GB RAM+32GB is Rs 7,999.
On the other hand, Lenovo K9 is also having Rs 1,000 discount as its original price is Rs 9,999. As under a special offer, you can get it for Rs 8,999 from Flipkart.
