Oppo launched its latest Oppo A7 smartphone in the Indian market. In 2017, OPPO was ranked as the number 4 smartphone brand globally, according to IDC.
Oppo A7 adopts the industry-first waterdrop screen design, backed by several technological advances, reflecting nature like a water droplet on the verge of dropping.

Oppo A7 features a 6.2″ IPS LCD waterdrop notched display that offers 88.4% screen ratio. Corning glass providing resistance to scratches while offering a more immersive experience.
The phone runs Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 450 clubbed with Adreno 506 for better graphics and other task performance. It has two variants — 3GB RAM and 4GB RAM. Both the variants have the same 32GB of internal storage. Furthermore, both support a microSD card which help to expand the storage up to 256GB.
Oppo A7 has dual rear camera setup 13MP & 2MP for capturing your moments. The dual rear camera (5P lens for the main camera), together with AI beauty technology, offers studio-quality portraits with bokeh effect. In addition to photos, the multi-frame image stabilization technology makes videos more fluent and vivid. The front camera is of 16MP with HDR mode makes your selfies clearer even in backlight conditions. Also, the wide angle and large aperture configuration capture extra details for more impressive photos.
The Oppo A7 is powered by a 4230 mAh (non-removable) frees you from the concern of battery drain during your day. Moreover, smart and thoughtful AI battery management freezes inactive apps and reduces excess caching to save more power. The phone does not support the quick charge or fast charging.
It measures 155.9 x 75.4 x 8.1 mm (height x width x thickness) and weight 168 grams. It is lighter than OnePlus 6T which runs OxygenOS-based on Android 9.0 Pie while it has ColorOS 5.2, based on Android 8.1.
The phone supports dual SIM (GSM and GSM) Nano-SIM and Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, 2.4G, NFC enabled, GPS, Bluetooth v4.2, USB OTG, Micro-USB, etc. Sensors on the phone include E-Compass, Light Sensor, Proximity Sensor, G-Sensor and Acceleration Sensor.
Oppo A7 Pricing and Availability
The pricing of the smartphone is not disclosed yet. In China, 4GB RAM/ 64GB inbuilt storage variant has cost CNY 1,599 (approx Rs. 16,500). Available in Fresh Powder, Lake Light Green, and Amber Gold colour variants. On the other hand, In Nepal, the 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant of the Oppo A7 is currently available at NPR 35,790 (roughly Rs. 22,200). It is available in two Glaring Gold and Glaze Blue variants, which are also the variants that will arrive in India.
