My Opinion on Xiaomi Mi A1
When you hold the phone, from the first touch you will start feeling that its size is perfect in terms of holding a phone which is possible because of the rounded edges. I must mention this” It has far better The power and volume controls are on the right-hand side, falling just under your thumb. Note 3 gets unlocked by fingerprint sensor which is up to you if you want to use it. It is placed just below the camera and when you hold the phone it is easily reachable.
I must mention this “It has far better grip than Mi Note 4 and premium look”. When I saw the phone it was mesmerizing and it is in reality.
The power and volume controls are on the right-hand side, falling just under your thumb. It gets unlocked by fingerprint sensor which is up to you if you want to use it. When you hold the phone it is easily reachable by your index finger.
Mi A1 display is FHD which has been improved as colors are more bright. Now the most important thing because of which this smartphone is in news ” Depth Effect”.
Xiaomi MI A1 with 12MP wide-angle and 12MP telephoto lenses work together to create real bokeh, the softly blurred background normally only possible with SLR cameras. This is what Mi Says, but when I actually did the hands on MI A1 it is true. It really captures superior shots in depth effect and even better than some other smartphones.
The moment you turn on the depth effect it automatically gets zoomed to 2x, which means you can have a better and a real portrait mode. While in normal mode the rear camera is able to capture the good quality of pictures in day light but comparing it to low light photography it performs decently.
Its front facing camera is same as Redmi Note 4, only feature I like group selfies in front camera. Rest of the things regarding camera are fine.
Coming to the processing speed, it works fluently when you launch an app you will receive instant response. As it has Octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor, max 2.0GHz built using 14nm FinFET technology which means it will save the battery as well as give you a good performance.
In terms of Video playback and gaming graphics, they are also extremely fluid. It has Adreno 506 GPU clocked at 650MHz which is good enough to carry out the graphical task and play games like Asphalt.
Although the phone gets heated up within the use of 10-15 min of use during gameplay, it is obvious and doesn’t make any harm. One more thing which can be considered its drawback is “Battery Life” which last long for approximately 6 hrs on normal use. There will be so many users who were using MIUI, might get disappointed as it doesn’t come with MIUI inbuilt.
Now, you need to decide about having it. This is what I felt while using the smartphone. Although it is a good deal to take away as no other smartphone near to this range performs better in terms of “Depth Effect”.
